The order to stop new JIT of Model Town Massacre from working has been extended till April 30.Lahore High Court has given 15-day time to Punjab Government to file its reply
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th April, 2019) The order to stop new JIT of Model Town Massacre from working has been extended till April 30.Lahore High Court has given 15-day time to Punjab Government to file its reply.LHC took up the case filed against new JIT of model town massacre for hearing on Friday.Advocate General Punjab Sardar Ahmad Jamal Sukhera prayed court for more time to file reply.Advocate General Punjab prayed court that it should give time of some weeks to file reply.Justice Qasim Khan while expressing wonder upon Advocate general Punjab's plea remarked, "Do you want time of some weeks"? We don't want to drag this case, Punjab government has sought time again and again regarding new JIT upon model town massacre.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek Counsel Azhar Siddique said we have filed petition against the bench at administrative level.He said we will challenge the constitution of bench in the high court.Constitution of new JIT for model town massacre was according to the law.Court has given 15 day time to advocate general Punjab for filing reply.
