
Over 4.5kg Drugs Seized During Crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) The Rawalpindi Police on Saturday have intensified their crackdown against drug dealers following the arrest of three drug dealers and recovered over 4.5 kilograms of drugs from their possession.
According to police, Kallar Syedan Police carried out successful operation and arrested two drug dealers. During the operation, police have also recovered 3.1 kg drugs from their custody.
In a separate operation, Gujjar Khan Police arrested drug supplier and confiscated 1.
6 kg drugs from him.
The arrested drug dealers have been booked under anti narcotics act.
The dealers will be presented in court with solid evidence to ensure strict legal action.
A spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police stated that the force, on the direction of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani, was taking all possible steps to eliminate the menace of drugs from the society.
"Drug peddlers are threats to our youth and future generations. We will not allow them to operate freely," he added.
