Over 704-kanal State Land Retrieved In Layyah

The district administration has retrieved over 704-kanal state land valuing over Rs 25 million so far during the ongoing ant-encroachment campaign.

LAYYAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :The district administration has retrieved over 704-kanal state land valuing over Rs 25 million so far during the ongoing ant-encroachment campaign.

This was disclosed by focal person for anti-encroachment campaign Yousaf Kaleem while talking to the media on Monday.

He said that 631 permanent and 1,422 temporary encroachments had been demolished while notices had been issued to 1,071 persons and Rs 46,400 fine imposed on them.

Yousaf Kaleem said that 235.75-ton solid waste had been removed while 833 sewerage lines cleared. The district administration had also planted 1,442 saplings in thedistrict, he added.
