Over 90 % IDPs Of SWA Rehabilitated: Zafarullah Khan

ISLAMABAD, Mar 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Mar, 2017 ) : Over 90 percent Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of South Waziristan Agency (SWA) have been rehabilitated in their villages. Talking to APP on telephone Tuesday, Political Agent of SWA Zafarullah Khan said remaining 10 percent rehabilitation of IDPs would be completed soon with the help of all stakeholders.
To a question he said, over 60,000 registered and 65,000 un- registered families of IDPs had gone back to their homes. The Government, he said had provided all necessary and basic facilities to them.
Zafarullah viewed that federal government was taking its special interest to rehabilitate the IDPs as soon as possible and various developmental schemes were also launched for the prosperity and development of the area.
A summery had been sent to the Governor for reviewing and re-launching of the development schemes in the area. Federal Government , he said was providing health, education and water drinking schemes and after the completion of these programmes the IDPs would be resettled in their villages.
