Over Rs. 9b Released For Temporarily Dislocated Persons ; Says Minister Of State For Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan has said that an amount of Rs. 9.149 has been released for rehabilitation of temporarily dislocated persons belonging to ex-FATA
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2019 ) :Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan has said that an amount of Rs. 9.149 has been released for rehabilitation of temporarily dislocated persons belonging to ex-FATA.
Replying a question in the National Assembly here on Wednesday, he said that more than Rs. 11 billion was allocated for the purpose of which Rs. 9.149 billion has been released while remaining amount would be released in next few weeks.
He said that Rs. 100 billion package was announced by the Prime Minister during his recent visit to North Waziristan.
The State Minister said that Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been written for recruiting local people in law enforcement agencies on merit while Prime Minister has also approved the special current and development budget for the FATA.
He said that Federal government in consultation with the relevant stakeholders, especially the KP government, has chalked out a comprehensive plan to streamline the integration process. A number of actions have been initiated in financial, security, judicial and administrative domains.
