Overseas Pakistanis Playing Pivotal Role In Development, Prosperity Of Country: Senate Chairman

Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has said that overseas Pakistanis played pivotal role in national development and prosperity. He was addressing the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, a message received here said on Tuesday.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2018 ) :Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has said that overseas Pakistanis played pivotal role in national development and prosperity. He was addressing the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, a message received here said on Tuesday.
Sanjrani said Pakistan was proud of all its overseas nationals who not only send foreign exchange amounting to billions of rupees but also act as its ambassadors contributing towards image building of the country abroad.
He said Hijaz-e-Muqadas was the religious and spiritual center of Muslim Ummah and every Muslim felt spiritual elevation on visit to holy cities of Makkah and Madina. He said Pakistan also made all out efforts to resolve the problems of overseas Pakistanis and create reasonable facilities for their families in Pakistan.
Similarly, Senate's Committee on Overseas Pakistanis had not only reviewed their problems but had also given meaningful recommendations, he added.
He appreciated the decision of increasing staff members at the Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia to address the problems of the increasing diaspora.
He observed that Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia were ambassadors of Pakistan and their contribution in progress of Saudi Arabia was too big to be neglected. The Senate chairman made it clear that the historic and unique relationship between the two states and peoples had strength and resolve which was not common in relationship with other countries.
Saudi Arabia had helped Pakistan in every hour of need and this relationship had its roots in the deep rooted religious and spiritual commonness, he said. Sadiq Sanjrani observed that the Saudi Arabia had always provided all possible facilitation possible for pilgrims and had been there in the face of any national calamity which occurred in any part of the Muslim world.
