Pakistan, AJK Are United To Support Freedom Movement In IOK

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan Tuesday said people of Pakistan and AJK along were united to support their brothers and sisters in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) for their just struggle for freedom and right to self-determination.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan Tuesday said people of Pakistan and AJK along were united to support their brothers and sisters in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) for their just struggle for freedom and right to self-determination.
"Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir are inseparable and no power on earth can sever their ties as their hearts throb together", he said while addressing at the concluding ceremony of the Bagh Spring Festival held at the Sardar Muhammad Hussain Khan Dharay Stadium in Bagh, said a press release issued here.
The President said in IOK, our brothers and sisters had been kept in bondage and captivity by the Indian occupation forces for the past 70 years. "The helpless Kashmiris are being mercilessly killed, injured, tortured and dishonored every day.
Women are being raped and the Hindu extremists in their frenzy to mete out collective punishment to the Kashmiris haven't even spared the innocent eight-year-old Asifa Bano." The President pointed out that the Indian operatives and agencies were targeting the areas of Azad Kashmir which was a clear violation of Line of Control (LoC).
"Their purpose is to punish our populations for liberating this part of the territory and raising the voice of Kashmiris and bolstering their aspirations for freedom and accession to Pakistan." Masood said that as Indian designs in IOK had been frustrated, their conspiracies in AJK and Pakistan would also be neutralized.
The President AJK paid tributes to the Armed Forces of Pakistan, for protecting AJK particularly the Line of Control and laying down their lives. He added that civilians living on along the LoC in AJK were heroes who had been giving sacrifices everyday for the defence of their motherland.
The Spring Festival jointly organized by Bagh's Civil Administration and the six Azad Kashmir (AK) Brigade included colorful events like horse riding, exhibition of animals, brass bands, sporting events and book stalls. Commissioner Poonch Division Abdul Hameed Mughal, Commander 6 AK Brigadier Amjad Iqbal and Deputy Commissioner Abdul Waheed Khan were also present at the ceremony.
