ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2018 ) :Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) disburses Rs 1,453 million through Individual Financial Assistance (IFA) Programme among the needy from July 2017 to February 2018, said official sources.
According to sources, in total Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) had spent a sum of Rs 2,429 million to provide relief to the deserving under various programmes from July 2017 to February 2018. The amount had been distributed to poorest of the poor focused programme, providing assistance to destitute, widows, orphans, needy persons and other programmes.
A sum of Rs 64 million had been disbursed under PBM Special Friends' Programme. Likewise, Rs 71 million cash subsidy was disbursed by the PBM under Child Support Programme and Rs 369 million under the school for Rehabilitation of Child programme.
He said Rs 17 million was disbursed by PBM among non-governmental organizations under Institutional Rehabilitation for Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
