Pakistan Baitul Mal's (PBM) Providing Shelter, Quality Education Over 4,000 Orphans: MD

The Pakistan Baitul Mal's (PBM) Managing Director Aon Abbas Buppi on Tuesday said PBM was providing shelter, food and educational facilities to over 4,000 children as per international standard under the age of 4-6 years across the country, with the assistance of different donors including educational institutions.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :The Pakistan Baitul Mal's (PBM) Managing Director Aon Abbas Buppi on Tuesday said PBM was providing shelter, food and educational facilities to over 4,000 children as per international standard under the age of 4-6 years across the country, with the assistance of different donors including educational institutions.
In an exclusive talk with private news channel in connection with Universal Children's Day, he praised Pakistan Bait-UL-Mal for providing shelters, quality education and grooming opportunities to children who lost their parents and were left under the open skies with no one to look after them.
The assignment given to me by Prime Minister Imran khan is a great challenge for me, MD said, adds, however, I will leave no stone unturned for the betterment of orphan children and for enhancing their constructive role in the the society.
PBM has set up 38 Pakistan Sweet Homes (PSH) so far to cater orphan children across the country including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, he said.
Aon Abbas said, the Sweet Homes project was attracting social workers, philanthropists and welfare organizations for the sponsorship of orphan children elsewhere in the country.
He said in these Sweet Homes, every child was given attention individually and collectively, in order to connect them to the mainstream society.
They (orphans) are imparted education, training and getting English language skills in a pleasant and friendly environment, he said.
"They (orphans) will be imparted quality education and training in well-reputed institutions for 14 years till their graduation," he added.
BaituL Mal in December will also launch a book on 'Sweet Home Orphan kids' life who are working in America after completion of their doctorate degrees, he said.
