Pakistan Day Preparations: Mobile, Internet Service Suspended In Islamabad

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st March, 2019) The mobile and internet service has been suspended in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in view of the Pakistan Day celebrations.
According to details, the Islamabad Administration has suspended mobile and internet services within 10 kilometres of Parade Ground where the Pakistan Day ceremony will be held.
According to a notification issued by Interior Ministry, the mobile phone services were suspended till 12pm.
The mobile phone service was suspended in view of the full dress rehearsal held today.
On the other hand, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner has already issued the notification of suspension of various activities ahead of the Pakistan Day parade.
Marriage halls, bus terminals and hotels will remain closed in the capital from March 19 till March 30.
Fool proof security will be ensured in the Capital besides high vigilance and combing as well as search operation in their respective areas with effective patrolling measures in the city, snap checking and strict checking at the entry and exit points of the city.
Pakistan Day will be celebrated with great fervor on March 23.
F-16 fighter jets of Turkey and China's J-10 aircrafts will display aerial acrobats on the occasion.
Contingents from Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan will perform march-past.
Moreover, Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad will be the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohamed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and officials from Sultanate of Oman will grace the ceremony with their presence.
