Pakistan Navy Delegation Visits PFA Head Office

A delegation of Pakistan Navy visited the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Head Office, here on Thursday.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2018 ) :A delegation of Pakistan Navy visited the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Head Office, here on Thursday.

The delegation was led by Deputy Chief Inspector Naval Store Captain Tariq Ali.

PFA Director General Cap. (R) Muhammad Usman facilitated the tour. He gave briefing to the delegation on PFA Act, Punjab Pure Food Rules 2018 and its regulations.

The delegation was briefed about administrative affairs, field teams' activities, licensing wing, management structure and progress of the PFA.

DG PFA Muhammad Usman said, "PFA door is always open for everyone and we are ready to provide all possible guidance to Pakistan Navy regarding food safety.

" They discussed to hold joint training workshops for the officers of PFA and Pakistan Navy.

They also discussed to explore new testing techniques in the field of food industry.

The delegation also visited different sections of the PFA.

On the occasion, Captain Tariq Ali appreciated the strategy of PFA against food adulteration mafia and for bringing improvement in the food industry.

He said that Pakistan Navy had keen interest to get benefit from the Punjab Food Authority model.
