Pakistan Protecting All Rights Of Minorities: PCSWHR

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2018 ) ::Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWHR) Muhammad Ejaz Noori has said that Pakistan, being an Islamic welfare state, is providing and protecting all rights to minorities.
Addressing the participants in the 'Hum Sub Ka Pakistan Conference', held under the auspices of the PCSWHR here on Sunday, he said that the minorities were also playing their role in national peace, development and prosperity.
Addressing the participant, Sardar Jaskaran Singh Sidhu, caretaker of Babey Di Beri Gurdawara in Sialkot, said that minorities had been given equal rights in the country, as elaborated in the Constitution of Pakistan.
Bishop of Sialkot, Church of Pakistan Alwin Samuel, said that the minorities had been enjoying complete religious freedom and their rights in Pakistan, saying that the government was making all-out sincere efforts for provision and protection of their basic rights to the minorities in the country.
Deputy Director Social Welfare Department Sialkot Jamshaid Bashir said that every religion in the world gives lesson of love, peace, unity, brotherhood, religious harmony, tolerance and respect of humanity.
Senior Member of Executive Committee of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Muhammad Ejaz said that minorities had been playing a pivotal role in national economical and political stability of Pakistan besides establishing durable peace globally as well.
The speakers and participants in the conference also expressedcomplete solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan regarding their ongoing anti-terrorism operation in the country.
