(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd March, 2019) March 22nd (ONLINE): The Federal Minister for Defence Pervaiz Khattak said this in a meeting with Minister for Defence from Azerbaijan Gen Col Gen Zakir Hasanov,who has arrived in Pakistan to attend Pakistan's Day Parade being held onMarch 23.The Federal Minister for Defence thanked the government of Azerbaijan forits support on the issue of Kashmir.The Federal Minister for Defence Pervaiz Khattak said that Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence with all including its neighbors.

The Minister for Defence added that bothcountries share common religion, culture and history, therefore bothcountries would continue to support each other on various intentional fora.The visiting Minister thanked the government of Pakistan for its invitationto the Pakistan Day Parade and said that Azerbaijan desires to work closelywith Pakistan.

He said Azerbaijan consider Pakistan important because ofits rich experience in various fields including Defence.
