Pakistan Recalls Ambassador in India Amid Tensions Over Kashmir Terror Act - Ministry

Pakistan has recalled its ambassador in India for consultations amid bilateral tensions over recent attack on Indian military convoy in the town of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir state, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Faisal said Monday

DELHI (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th February, 2019) Pakistan has recalled its ambassador in India for consultations amid bilateral tensions over recent attack on Indian military convoy in the town of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir state, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Faisal said Monday.

India has slammed Islamabad after a Pakistan-based terrorist group claimed responsibility for last week's deadly attack on the Indian military convoy that left about 40 servicemen dead. Islamabad denied involvement.

"We have called back our High Commissioner in India for consultations. He left New Delhi this morning," the spokesman tweeted.
