Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Seasonal Motels Functioning In Hilly Areas

Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation ( PTDC ) seasonal motels were functioning to facilitate the tourists in Swat, Naran, Ayubia and other hilly places of the country.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2018 ) :Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation ( PTDC ) seasonal motels were functioning to facilitate the tourists in Swat, Naran, Ayubia and other hilly places of the country.
A PTDC official told APP here on Thursday said that some new initiatives had been taken to offer best facilities for tourists at various destinations.
In that regard several motels were already operating at Swat, Naran, Ayubia, Miandam (Swat), Panakot (Dir), Bamburet (Chitral), Bunni (Chitral), Birmoglasht (Chitral), Main Chitral, Mastuj (Chitral), Chattar Plain (Mansehra), Besham (Shangla), Balakot, Torkham and at Ayubia (Abbotabad) and in Balochistan province PTDC owns only one motel.
During the last five years, around 42,247 tourists had arrived in Pakistan to relish its natural beauty However, the most popular destinations among the tourists remained Gilgit-Balitstan (GB) particularly Deosai, Rama, Hunza, Atabad Lake, Chitral Valley, Swat Valley, Kaghan Valley, Murree and Galliat.
He said that a large number of international and national tourists were enjoying hospitable offers at all of the newly opened motels at Gilgit, Gupis (Ghizer), Hunza, Phandar (Ghizer), Rama Lake (Astore), Sust, Astak (Skardu), Khaplu (Ghanche), Satpara (Skardu) and Skardu Motel.
