ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 15th February, 2019) President Dr. Arif Alvi says Pakistan's future links with science and technology therefore more Civil Awards should be given in these areas as well as in education and business fields.He was addressing a briefing of Cabinet Division on Civil Awards in Islamabad on Friday.
President directed for complete and detailed scrutiny of applicants and to strictly observe merit while giving Civil Awards to finalizing the people.
He also directed to adopt a comprehensive mechanism while giving the awards, which augment the worth of these awards.President Alvi said these Awards are best way to recognize the valuable services of intelligent citizens for the country.On the occasion, President was given a detailed briefing about the procedure of giving awards to the citizens of the country.
