PAL Organises Online 'Hindko Hamdiya & Naatia Mushaira'

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :Pakistan academy of Letters (PAL) organized an online international 'Hindko Hamdiya, Naatia Mushaira' as a part of its series of Mushairas in different languages.
Eminent scholar Muhammad Zia ud Din presided over the Mushaira. While Imtiaz ul Haq Imtiaz was the chief guest on the occasion.
Chairman PAL Dr Yusaf Khushk in his welcome remarks, shed light on the 'Hamd and Naats' in the Hindko language in historical perspective. He said that PAL for the first time organized a series of Hamdiya and Naatia Mushairas in the holy month of Ramazan He thanked the poets for their participation in the Mushaira despite the difficult situation of COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Amir Suhail was the moderator of the Mushaira.
Prominent Hindko language scholars and poets including Akhtar Zaman (Balakot), Shakeel Awan (Abbottabad), Hussam Khur (Peshawar), Suhail Samim (Abbottabad), Shujat Ali Shah (Shinkiari), Bushra Farrukh (Peshawar), Qazi Nasir Bakhtyar (Nawan Shyr), Abdul Hameed Bismal (Abbottabad) and Ahmed Nadeem Awan (Peshawar) recited their Hamdiya and Naatiya poetry on the occasion.
