Partly Cloudy Weather Likely In Most Parts During Next 24 Hours

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Aug, 2020 ) :Pakistan Meterological Department (PMD) on Friday forecast partly cloudy weather in most parts of the country.
Rain-wind/thundershowers are also expected in Islamabad, northeastern Punjab, lower Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while isolated heavy falls will also likely to occur in southeastern Sindh.
Weak Monsoon currents are penetrating in upper and lower parts of the country and likely to strengthen in lower parts during next 24 hours. Westerly wave is also present over upper parts of the country.
In last 24 hours widespread rain-thundershowers occurred in upper/central Punjab, Sindh, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Weather remained dry elsewhere in the country.
