Partly Cloudy Weather Predicted For Parts Of KP

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd july,2016) : Provincial Meteorological Department here Saturday predicted partly cloudy weather for parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with thunderstorm, rain and gusty wind at isolated places in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Buner, Chitral, Upper Dir, Shangla, Swat, Kohat, Hungu, Karak, Mardan and Swabi districts. The same weather is also expected in Kurram, Bajaur and South Waziristan agencies.
Partly cloudy weather is also expected in Gilgit- Baltistan during next 24 hours. Weather situation is attributed to a seasonal low lies over northern parts of Balochistan and its adjoining area.
A westerly wave is seen affecting upper parts of the country that would likely to persist during next 24 hours. Maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius was recorded in provincial metropolis of Peshawar followed by 32 in Skardu and Lower Dir, 30 in Chitral, 25 in Gilgit and 24 in Malamjabba.
