Passenger With Drug Held At Airport In Multan

Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) on Wednesday arrested a passenger carrying 800 grams of drug at Multan International Airport.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Oct, 2018 ) :Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) on Wednesday arrested a passenger carrying 800 grams of drug at Multan International Airport.

An official told APP that Muhammad Ayaz s/o Sher Nawaz Khan resident of Swabi, KPK was set to embark flight FZ -340 via Dubai in early hours today.

During checking, Amphetamine (ICE), a drug, was found hidden in a packet of sweets he was carrying.

It may be noted that ICE is costlier than Heroin and also known as crystal meth, is a highly addictive drug that can increase the user's risk of mental and physical damage. The user may initially experience short-term energy, euphoria and alertness but taking it in high doses leads to aggressive behaviour and psychosis.
