Independent candidate Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran has won PB-8 with 18271 votes.

Barkhan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran has won PB-8 with 18271 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PB-8 Barkhan constituency with 18271 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party candidate Agha Syed Liaqat Ali was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 13741 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Syed Mateeullah Agha who got 12036 votes.

At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PB-8. In 2013 elections, there were 60564 voters registered in PB-8, out of which 30581 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.49 %. Detailed results can be found here
