
PBIT, Chinese Discuss Investment In Punjab

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th july, 2016) : Punjab board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and a delegation of eminent Chinese businessmen including the President of JAC Company in Pakistan, discussed ways and means to enhance foreign direct investment in Pakistan during a meeting here at the PBIT office on Tuesday. Chinese delegation included Mr.
Chen Zhiqiang, President of JAC Company, and Mr. Chen Jinpeng, General Manager of Yangzhou Hongyun Automobile Co. During the meeting, the PBIT CEO Ms. Amena Cheema discussed a plethora of investment opportunities existed in Punjab.
Mr.
Chen Zhiqiang said that JAC Company was a major Chinese state-owned automobile company with an annual production capacity of 700,000 and is one of the ten largest automobile companies in China. President of JAC expressed his desire to establish trade ties in Punjab and promote collaboration between China and Pakistan.
Both parties were keen to strengthen the enduring bond between the two countries in a mutually beneficial manner.
