PDWP Approves 21 Projects Worth Rs 22543.253mln

The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Tuesday approved 21 projects of public welfare worth Rs.22543.253 million

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Sep, 2017 ) : The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Tuesday approved 21 projects of public welfare worth Rs.22543.253 million, deferring 6 projects due to inadequate designs.

The meeting held under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary/ Secretary PandD Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah considered a total 27 projects pertaining to different sectors including Health, Home and Tribal Affairs, Housing, Higher Education, Elementary and Secondary Education, Local Government, Agriculture, Road and Bridges.

The approved projects of the Health were �Upgradation of Civil Hospital Shakardara to Cat-D Hospital, Kohat, (SDG)� and �Construction of Two Gyms, Wards and OTs in Paraplegic Centre Hayatabad, Peshawar.

The approved project of the Home and Tribal Affairs was �Special Development Support for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and Creation of Model Police Stations (SDSP-V). In Housing section �Launching of Housing Scheme for Government Servants and General Public at Jalozai district Nowshera� was approved.

In Higher education �Establishment of Government Degree College Umerzai, District Charsadda�, In Elementary and Secondary Education �Special Initiative S.H -Stoori -da- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa�, In Local Govt.

sector �Development Package for Kumrat and Barawal Valley', in Agriculture sector �Culturable Waste Land Development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Establishment of Milk Quality Testing Labs at Divisional Headquarters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and �Land Development /Reclamation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa� were approved.

The meeting was attended by its members and respective administrative secretaries.
