PDWP Approves 29 Developmental Projects Costing Rs 13676.097 Mln

A meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash Thursday forum approved 29 developmental projects with an estimated cost of Rs 13676.097 million

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Nov, 2017 ) :A meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash Thursday forum approved 29 developmental projects with an estimated cost of Rs 13676.097 million.

Meeting was attended by its members, respective administrative secretaries and Secretary P&DD Mr.Shahab Ali Shah and. The forum approved 29 projects after considered 31 projects pertaining to different sectors including Health, MSD, Agriculture, Auqaf, Elementary & Secondary education, Higher Education, Water, DWSS, Road and Bridges, Urban Development and ST&IT.

One project was deferred due to inadequate design. Approved projects included Improvement & Standardization of DHQ Hospital in Nowshera. Approved project of Law & Justice sector was Missing facilities and improvement of infrastructure of existing judicial complexes in KP, Grant of Special Package for affectees of District Swabi, gravely affected by conversion / diversion of Indus water to Ghazi Barotha, Improvement of Government Seed Production Units in KP, Strengthening and Rehabilitation of Agriculture Research Stations and Institute in KP, Establishment of University of Agriculture D.I.Khan, Security Arrangements for autonomous educational institutions, GGHSS Mira Sultankhel UC Kotkai ,GHSS Secondary Schools Wazir Abad Torawari Hangu (PK-43) , GHSS Farid Khan Goryal Dir Upper and Feasibility Study and Establishment of Cadet College at Bannu, Project Management Unit for Implementation of BS Program and Special Initiatives and Support to Bacha Khan University Charsadda.

Other projects are: Construction of Flood Embankment from Kheshki village to Motor way Bridge L/S Kabul River District Nowshera/Charsadda (Reach-1), Construction of Flood Embankment on Kabul River upper side of Motorway interchange District Nowshera, Improvement and Up gradation of Roads and Construction of Bridges along Canals/Drains in District Charsadda, Improvement / Construction of Canals, Channels, Drainage System and Flood Protection Structures in District Charsadda, Construction and Improvement of Irrigation Infrastructure including FPW, Channels / Ponds, Roads, Tube Wells and Drainage System in Tordher, Jalabi, Jalsai, Lahore, Ambar and other areas of District Swabi, Rehabilitation of Canal Roads, Culverts and flood protection walls in U/Cs South, Darwesh, Pandak, Ali Khan, Sarai Saleh, Rehana, Shah Maqsood and Pind Hashim Khan district Haripur, & Construction/ improvement of roads along canals and drains including link roads in Kheshki Bala and Payan area district Nowshera, WSS Schemes and Distribution System in PK-24 District Mardan, WSS Schemes and Distribution Works in PK-25 District Mardan, Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes in Amir Abad, Wattar UC Mera Akora & Masam Khel, Mali Khel Bala, Mali Khel Payan, Umaray Killay, Dargai, Hassan Dara in UC Adam Zai Distt: Nowshera, Water Supply and Sanitation Schemes in Khair Abad UC Khair Abad, Kund UC Jehangira, Hisartang UC Jabbai Mandori, Gandab UC Inziri, Asoo Khel UC Kahi, Sara Toya UC Nizampur, Garu, Piran, Namal Bala and Payan UC Nizam Pur, Nowshera, Feasibility and Construction of Water Supply Scheme UC Kuh from Golen Gole to Mori Lasht,adjoing and road side villages District Chitral, Installation of Water supply Tube wells along with Distribution system 04 No.

in PK-32 District Swabi & Installation of Water supply Tube wells along with Distribution system 04 No. in PK-33 District Swabi, Construction/ Rehabilitation of road from BHU tajwal to Nawansher, Machana to Batangi, Serrian to Keri Raiki,Taror, Shakra to Choprra Nawansher Pirkot, to Tupla road Kala Ban, Shukka Kas road, Abbottabad, KP Open Wi- Fi(R)PDWP, PCC shoulders Tuff tiles on both side Pindi Road Kohat.
