PECSO Nabs 99 Power Pilferers

PESHAWAR, Jan 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : The PESCO surveillance teams conducted raids in different areas of Swat, Khyber and Peshawar Circles and nabbed 99 more power pilferers.
On the directions of Chief Executive Pesco Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai, drive against illegal use of electricity has been accelerated throughout the province and arrested 99 more power thieves in these localities.
According to PESCO, the surveillance team under the supervision of Deputy Director Masaood Khan and Khalid Khan Line Superintendent raided in different areas of Peshawar, Khyber and Swat circles and nabbed 99 electricity thieves red handed.
As many as 42 electricity stealers were arrested at Warsak -1, Urban sub division Charsadda, Sardhery, Town-1,2 sub divisions Peshawar of Peshawar Circle.
In Khyber Circle, 25 power pilferers nabbed including slow meters of welding shop, crush machines and a tube well in the jurisdiction of Nowshera Cantt-1 sub division.
As many as 32 power stealers nabbed in the jurisdiction of Daggar-1 and 2 sub divisions of Swat Circle including meter of sub jail building, tube well of civil hospital, Ishfaq Morble factory, 3 water supply schemes, Dargai Levy and TMA. During the checking in the areas of Themargra, Bajur, Talash, eight power thieves were nabbed using direct connections.
