People Celebrates Pakistan Day With Enthusiasm In Sialkot

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2018 ) :-:The people of of Sialkot district celebrated Pakistan Day with great zeal and enthusiasm here on Friday. With the dawn of the day, special prayers were offered in the mosques for the progress and prosperity of the country.
The main national flag hoisting ceremony was held at historical Sialkot Fort. A large number of the people from all walks of life participated in this colourful ceremony. In the city, Pakistan Day celebrations remained continued for the whole day, as major political parties celebrated the historic day in a dignified manner by hoisting national and party flags, while the local cable tv networks aired comprehensive programmes and presented national songs, talk shows, dramas and children programmes in this regard.
The sweets and Azadi gifts were also distributed among the prisoners at Sialkot District Jail and in all the government and private hospitals here. The youth took out Pakistan Day rallies in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils. APP/ir/gmf
