Performance Of ACE Punjab Declared On Top Of All Provinces

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Nov, 2016 ) : In a meeting of Inter-provincial Coordination Committee on Anti-Corruption, held at NAB Headquarters Islamabad, Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab was rated at the top due to its initiatives and extraordinary performance.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, all the provincial heads of Anti-Corruption Establishments participated while Director General Operations NAB, Zahir Shah chaired the meeting of Inter-provincial Coordination Committee on Anti-Corruption.
The committee while reviewing the progress of Provincial Anti-Corruption Establishments declared that the performance of Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab, in line with the guidelines of European Union and other International Organizations, was on the top of all provinces.
The committee also appreciated the procedure evolved by ACE Punjab for the capacity building and training of investigation officers to apply the latest gadgets during course of investigation.
The participants were briefed that none of other provinces had four levels of organizational strength and effectiveness like ACE Punjab.
The committee also hailed the introduction of Anti-Corruption Complaint Management System in ACE Punjab to ensure transparency and effective monitoring of complaint handling at all level. This system would also help to take the complaints to their logical conclusion.
The committee declared it a solid step and suggested other provinces to follow Anti-Corruption Complaint Management System introduced by ACE Punjab. The committee also of the view that reforms to make the ACE Punjab an effective investigation agency were a serious effort of Punjab government to check the corruption in government departments of the province.
