
PES Provide Services To 654 Victims

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : Punjab Emergency Service (PES) has provided services to victims of 654 road accidents in Punjab during last 24 hours. According to Rescue 1122, nine people were killed while 543 sustained serious injuries in the accidents.
However, 288 drivers, 25 juvenile drivers, 107 pedestrians and 380 passengers were among the victims of these crashes.
The statistics showed that 131 accidents were reported in city which affected 151 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 69 in Faisalabad with 76 victims and Gujranwala remained at third with 37 accidents and 42 victims. As many as, 536 motorcycles, 105 rickshaws, 70 cars, 30 vans, 11 buses, 37 trucks and 90 other vehicles and slow moving carts were involved in the accidents.
