PES Provided Services To 619 Accident Victims

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : The Punjab Emergency Service (PES) has provided services to the victims of 691 road accidents in Punjab during the last 24 hours. According to Rescue 1122, six people were killed while 609 sustained serious injuries in the accidents.
However, 318 drivers, 28 juvenile drivers, 134 pedestrians and 366 passengers were among the victims of the crashes. The statistics showed that 141 accidents were reported in city which affected 151 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 76 in Faisalabad with 89 victims and Gujranwala remained at third with 45 accidents and 43 victims.
As many as, 540 motorcycles, 110 rickshaws, 64 cars, 43 vans, eights buses, 22 trucks and 75 other vehicles were involved in the accidents.
