PES Provides Services To Victims Of 986 Accidents

The Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 provided services to victims of 986 road accidents across the province during the last 24 hours

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2019 ) :The Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 provided services to victims of 986 road accidents across the province during the last 24 hours.

According to data provided by the PES here on Friday, six persons were killed and 1,086 others injured in the accidents.

The data showed that 407 drivers, 21 underage drivers, 156 pedestrians and 529 passengers were among the victims of these road traffic crashes.

The statistics show that 249 RTCs were reported in Lahore which affected 256 persons placing the Provincial Capital at top of the list followed by 101 in Faisalabad with 112 victims and Multan at third with 61 RTCs and 58 victims.

According to data, 777 motorcycles, 116 rickshaws, 92 cars, 48 vans, 25 passenger buses, 22 trucks and 124 other types of vehicles and slow-moving carts were involved in these road traffic accidents.
