PESCO Directed To Address Low Voltage Issue In Swabi Before Ramzan: Shahram Khan Taraqai

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Shahram Khan Taraqai on Thursday said all power related issues in district Swabi would be resolve before holy month of Ramzan
In a statement issued after meeting with Chief Executive PESCO Dr Amjad Khan he said that PESCO has finalized a plan to facilitate people in the month of Ramzan.
Residents of NA-19 have been facing issue of low voltage for the past several years due to which they were facing very difficult situation. Due to shortage of feeders in the area there was heavy load on transformers causing low voltage issue.
On the occasion the PESCO chief informed the minister that re-conducting work on transmission lines and overhauling of transformers would be completed before the holy month of Ramzan.
During the meeting Shahram Khan Taraqai directed steps should be taken to provide uninterrupted power supply in the city in the holy month.
He also discussed upgradation of feeders that were facing issue of overload and said that funds have been released in this regard.
He directed PESCO to completed re-conducting, overhauling and maintenance work on time to facilitate the consumers in the month of Ramzan.
