PESCO Removes Hundreds Of Illegal Connections: Spokesperson

Spokesperson of Power Division Zafar Yab Khan said on Tuesday that the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) had removed hundreds of illegal connections (Kunda) during the out going anti-theft campaign
On his twitter account, he posted that during anti-theft campaign, PESCO region, led by Member Provincial Assembly, Engineer Faheem and local elders, hundreds of illegal connections were removed by the authority.
He said the authority had also restored about 1800 connections after assurance given by the consumers for the payment.
Due to the campaign, he further tweeted that load on the feeder was reduced from 400 ampsto 160 amps and now consumers were getting 14 hours electricity as compared to earlier four hours.
