PFA Organizes Level-I Food Safety Training For Food Court Workers

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) In a collaborative effort between the Punjab Food Authority(PFA) and Shalimar Smart City (Food Court),a Level-I Food Safety Training session was successfully held in Sargodha,here on Saturday.

The event was conducted under the directives of Director General(DG) Punjab Food Authority(PFA),Muhammad Asim Javed and supervised by Deputy Director(DD) Operations PFA, Shahbaz Sarwar.

A total of 55 participants took part in the training,which focused on international standards of food hygiene and safety.

The session included comprehensive lectures and practical demonstrations on personal hygiene for food handlers, proper use of uniforms and safe food storage practices.

Key topics covered during the training included temperature control,prevention of cross-contamination,proper hand washing techniques,use of gloves and the separation of raw and cooked food items.

At the end of the session,participants were awarded certificates for their successful completion of the training.

The initiative was praised as a positive step toward ensuring the provision of clean and safe food to the public.

The DDO PFA Shahbaz Sarwar reaffirmed his commitment to continued training campaigns aimed at raising food safety standards across the division.
