PFA Plans To Eradicate Effects Of Pesticides On Vegetables, Fruits

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab food Authority (PFA) has made a plan to eradicate effects of using pesticides on vegetables and fruits.
According to available information, Director General (DG) PFA Capt (R) Muhammad Usman presiding over a meeting of the authority said many pesticides had long effects on vegetable and fruits after spray on them.
Therefore, the PFA had made a plan to test vegetable and fruits before its marketing.
In this way, people would be able to get germs free vegetables and fruits besides a protective shield against diseases, he claimed.
He said consultation with the agriculture department would be conducted after test of vegetables and fruits to make a comprehensive policy to block supply of health hazard vegetables.
