MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2018 ) :Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed 12 eateries in South Punjab due to unhygienic condition and using unhealthy ingredients for edibles. Director Operations South Punjab Muhammad Saeed Leghari said here on Saturday that the authority closed five bakers, two ice factories and five food points in various areas.
The teams disposed of 7560 litre adulterated milk, 2400 kg substandard pickle, 200 kg unhygienic pulp, 60 kg sweets and other food items. A fine of Rs 110,500 was imposed on the owners for these violations and warning notices were served for improving cleanliness arrangements, it concluded.
