Phase One Of Parliament Lodges Expansion To Be Completed During Current Fiscal Year

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq's special efforts have borne fruit as the expansion project of the Parliament Lodges is now nearing completion.

Upon assuming office, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq immediately ordered the swift completion of the project. Both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker held multiple meetings with the relevant institutions to ensure progress.

Taking strict notice of the increased costs of the project, the Speaker ordered that the project may be completed as soon as possible with minimal expenses. He warned that further delays in construction and costs will not be tolerated.

Due to the Speaker's efforts, the required funds for the project's construction have been provided. He has also directed legal action against all relevant institutions in the event of further delays.

The delays have caused significant difficulties for the Members of Parliament, with many expressing their concerns on multiple occasions.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has assured the Speaker that Phase One of the Parliament Lodges expansion will be completed during the current fiscal year.

Ayaz Sadiq has instructed that Phase Two of the expansion be completed by the next fiscal year.
