Philanthropists To Construct 10 Shelter Homes Including 5 Announced By Prime Minister In Lahore

A delegation of famous personalities and philanthropists Thursday assured Prime Minister Imran Khan that they would bear construction cost of the five shelter homes recently announced by him in Lahore.
Members of the delegation also told the prime minister that besides his announced five shelter homes in Lahore, they would construct five more shelter homes for the shelter-less people.
The delegation which called on the prime minister included Mian Muhammad Ihsan, Gohar Ijaz, Mian Tallat Mahmood, Noor Hazrat, Dr Abdul Bari Khan, Anwar Ahmed Khan, Aqeel Saed Mir and others. Advisor to the PM, Shahzad Arbab and Special Assistant Naeemul Haq were also present in the meeting.
The delegation briefed the prime minister about services of five government hospitals in Punjab being run under the network of Indus Health Network.
They briefed that Indus Health Network was constructing a 600-bed modern hospital at a cost of Rs15 billion in Lahore.
The prime minister appreciated services of Indus Health Network, Shaiksh Ijaz Ahmed Trust, Niamat Saleem, Ali Foundation and other philanthropists in social welfare sector.
The business community assured their full support to the prime minister's vision for bringing improvement in the country's economy. Problems of the business community also came under discussion during the meeting.
