Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Tufail Anjum has won PK-49 with 24480 votes.

Mardan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Tufail Anjum has won PK-49 with 24480 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-49 Mardan-II constituency with 24480 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Raja Faisal Zaman was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 28372 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Raja Ejaz Akhter who got 19178 votes.

At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-49. In 2013 elections, there were 119641 voters registered in PK-49, out of which 72583 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60.67 %. Detailed results can be found here
