Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Jamshid Khan has won PK-55 with 22447 votes.

Mardan (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Jamshid Khan has won PK-55 with 22447 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PK-55 Mardan-VIII constituency with 22447 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Saleh Muhammad was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 32688 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Shehzada Muhammad Gustasap Khan who got 24251 votes.

At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-55. In 2013 elections, there were 165971 voters registered in PK-55, out of which 83976 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.60 %. Detailed results can be found here
