Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Khalid Khan has won PK-56 with 20247 votes.

Charsadda (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Khalid Khan has won PK-56 with 20247 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-56 Charsadda-I constituency with 20247 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Wajeh uz Zaman Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 44018 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Molana Nasir Mehmood who got 20137 votes.

At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-56. In 2013 elections, there were 162910 voters registered in PK-56, out of which 82474 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.63 %. Detailed results can be found here
