Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Idrees has won PK-62 with 40377 votes.
Nowshera (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Idrees has won PK-62 with 40377 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-62 Nowshera-II constituency with 40377 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Muhammad Usmatullah was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 3590 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Saif Ur Rehman Qureshi who got 1852 votes.
At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-62. In 2013 elections, there were 32917 voters registered in PK-62, out of which 10211 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 31.02 %. Detailed results can be found here
