Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Fazal Ilahi has won PK-79 with 18044 votes.
Peshawar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Fazal Ilahi has won PK-79 with 18044 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PK-79 Peshawar-XIV constituency with 18044 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Mulana Mufti Fazal Ghafoor was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 13838 votes. The second runner up was Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan candidate Bakht Jehan Khan who got 13377 votes.
At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-79. In 2013 elections, there were 149490 voters registered in PK-79, out of which 43710 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 29.24 %. Detailed results can be found here
