
PM Brings Back Opposition Members In House

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : The opposition parties on Wednesday staged walk out of the National Assembly in protest against the remarks of the Interior Minister for criticizing past governments but Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Shairf himself visited the opposition lobby and brought them back to the House. Speaking on a point of order, leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that they never criticized the government and always talked about joint efforts to fight the terrorism. He said, "Neither they need a certificate of patriotism from any one nor Asif Zardari needs praise from any one.
" Later, members of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) walked out the from the National Assembly session.
Members of Jamaat-i-Islami and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf also walked out of the House. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq requested Ministers Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada and Zahid Hamid to bring the opposition back to the house. However, the Prime Minister himself visited the Opposition Lobby and brought them (Members of the Opposition Parties) to the House. Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, Asif Hasnain and others members lauded the Prime Minister for visiting the Opposition Lobby to bring the Opposition back to the House.
