PM House Name Changed To ‘State Complex’

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd January, 2019) The name of Prime Minister House has been changed to ‘State Complex’.
Media reports said that the new name has been starting using for the PM House.
This new name has been mentioned on the electricity bill.
Earlier, the Federal government had decided to name PM House as ‘Daar-ul-Hukma’.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had committed during his election campaign and in his first speech after taking the oath of office to convert the PM House into a center of excellence.
Imran Khan, citing the condition of poor people in Pakistan, had time and again said he would not live in such a lavish building.
The PM House is now being turned into a university.
The university has been named "Islamabad National University".
Under the plan, a research university will be set up on 30 acres of land, which will not only teach governance-related subjects but also provide assistance to various organizations.
The university on 30-acres land acquired from the polo ground, stables and mountains will be constructed in the second phase. A research institute will be made initially which will be further given the status of a university.
In the second phase, the new building will be constructed on 30 acres land of PM House. The "Islamabad National University" will be given an entry and exit from Fourth Avenue Darbar Bari Imam Sarkar. The PM House University will be the country's high quality research university.
