Despite the heightening tensions and escalations across the Line of Control (LoC) with airstrikes, Pakistan has continued to adopt a peaceful approach.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th February, 2019) Amid war frenzy in India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again offered dialogue and cooperation to India.
Addressing the nation on Wednesday, the prime minister said, "I once again invite India for a dialogue. Better sense should prevail. We should resolve our issues through dialogue."
"All the wars fought in history were because of miscalculation. I ask India can we afford any miscalculation with the weapons we have. If a war starts from here, what would it lead to?" the prime minister said.
Despite the heightening tensions and escalations across the Line of Control (LoC) with airstrikes, Pakistan has continued to adopt a peaceful approach.
As war frenzy had taken over India and its hyper-nationalistic media, Prime Minister Imran Khan came up with his message of peace.
Twitterati are lauding the pacifistic policy of the prime minister and denouncing the possibility of an all-out war.
Here’s what they are saying:
Tensions heightened between India and Pakistan and took a military turn after India intruded intro Pakistan's territory on Tuesday.
"Indian Air Force violated Line of Control. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircrafts gone back," military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Twitter.
Pakistan retaliated on Wednesday shooting down two Indian planes after they crossed the LoC.
"In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area," DG ISPR wrote in his tweet.
