PM Imran To Announce New Visa Policy Today

In the first stage, five countries will be given visa free access to Pakistan.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th March, 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce new visa policy today.
The government has also reduced the visa fee.
The prime minister will launch the pilot project today.
Under the new visa policy, citizens of Britain, China, Turkey, Malaysia and the UAE can get Pakistani visa via e-mail by paying only $8.
In the first stage, these five countries will be given visa free access to Pakistan.
The new visa policy is one of the major initiatives taken by the present government in past five months.
Under the new visa policy, citizens from 175 countries would have e-visa facility while citizens of 50 countries would enjoy visa on arrival facility.
Speaking about the policy, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Wednesday that the new visa policy is aimed at opening Pakistan for the outside world.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to announce new visa policy on Thursday. He said in the next phase 55 more countries will be given visa facilities at the airport.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier said that the new visa policy announced by the government would prove to be a milestone for promoting tourism in the country.
