PML-N Turns Victorious In PP-84 Khushab By-polls

Moazzam Sher Kallu has stood at the top by bagging 73, 081 voes while his rival candidate of PTI Ali Hussain Baloch could get 62, 903 votes during the by-poll election of PP-84

KHUSHAB: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 6^th, 2021) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured victory in PP-84 seat after its candidate won the seat with a significant margin.

According to the unofficial results, The PML-N candidate Moazzam Sher Kallu bagged 73,081 votes while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ali Hussain Baloch came second place, with 62,903 votes

The seat had fallen vacant after the death of PML-N lawmaker Malik Muhammad Waris Kallo in March this year.

The ECP had set up 229 polling stations in the constituency for 292, 687 registered voters and total eight candidates contested election on the said seat.

The relevant authorities had declared at least 14 polling stations as sensitive and monitored with the help of CCTV cameras while 2880 policemen and 600 Rangers were deployed there for security purposes.
