PML-N's Muhammad Hanif Abbasi wins NA-56 election

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Feb, 2024) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Candidate Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has won the election for National Assembly constituency NA-56 Rawalpindi-V by securing 96,649 votes.

According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Independent candidate Shehryar Riaz, who bagged 82,613 votes.

Overall voters' turn-out remained 44.84 percent.
