ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2018 ) :Senior leader Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Daniyal Aziz Monday claimed party's popularity was increasing day by day despite Panama papers case was under trial against former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to a private news channel, he claimed people of the country were least concerned with Panama Papers case against Sharif family and they were largely supporting the PML-N.
He claimed Nawaz Sharif had presented himself and his family for accountability into the Panama Papers case soon after the issue was revealed.
Daniyal Aziz claimed Nawaz Sharif was regularly appearing before the courts as he wanted that decision should come on the matter.
He claimed, like every citizen, fair trial was fundamental right of Nawaz Sharif as well and he had been expressing reservations on the conduct of proceedings against him in the case.
On the other side, he observed that review petitions of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leadership including Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen, were not being taken up and were pending for a long time.
He claimed that inner differences of PTI were increasing and party was divided into groups and their immature political behavior was depicting that they were unable to serve the country.
