PML-N's Shabbir Iqbal wins PP-245 election

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Shabbir Iqbal has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-245 Bahalwalpur-I by securing 47,177 votes.

According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's candidate Muhammad Aghar stood second by getting 42,196 votes.

The third position was grabbed by PPPP candidate Muhammad Asim Javed with 2,905 votes.

Voter turnout was recorded at 54.5%.
